We are looking for a qualified Electrician who wants to use their commercial experience in a unique environment. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the Ash facility runs efficiently 24/7/365 and that any risks within the mechanical and electrical systems are clearly identified, raised and repaired! Our Ash Data Centre is not your average office, were based out of a converted cold war nuclear bunker in East Kent making it one of the most secure data centres around and an exciting facility in which to work. 

• Ensuring the site is safe at all times:

• Assisting the Facilities Health & Safety Officer to ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation

• Site adherence to fire regulations including required maintenance of systems and equipment

• Assisting with maintenance tasks in accordance with the Ash Site Preventative Maintenance Plan

• Maintaining records on all maintenance carried out that are to a standard that can be audited.

• To provide out of hours cover on a rota basis and be available in case of emergency

• To carry the installation of any required electrical equipment (i.e. Cables and distribution boards etc) in compliance with IEE wiring regulations

• To assist with the provision of network cabling, as required

• To work on various plant as installed at the Ash facility

• To carry out general maintenance tasks on site/general building fabric that are required in routine day to day working (erection of boards, screens, notice boards etc)
