Our client is looking for welder proficient with weld processes such as, flux-cored arc welding (FCAW)

• Working knowledge and experience in welding operations required with detailed knowledge of sub-arc welding (SAW) preferred
• Must have the strength and skills to manage, set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
• Has the ability to operate precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape
• Must be able to complete a welding test given by hiring manager
• Has great communication skills
• Has a strong sense of detail and willingness to work hard
• Valid driver's license required
• Welding certification and/or related Associate Degree preferred
• Able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Weekend and overtime work may be required as dictated by customer and market needs

• Implement and maintain preheat and interpass temperatures
• Read, understand and implement welding process specifications, part drawings and related documentation
• Verify serial number of the equipment in weld repair process
• Maintain accurate record of work completed in work repair routers and welder personal tally book
• Safely operate additional tools such as grinders, cut-off saws, band saws, flame cutting and plasma cutting equipment
• Operates lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, jib cranes and forklifts
• Maintains inventory of welding supplies routinely used in the operation by inspecting stock and requesting order for supplies as needed
• Completes assigned training in accordance to Propetro HR, Safety and Quality standards
